Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers fired at a group of residents who protested who protested against the bulldozing of their farmlands in order to erect the Separation Wall, on the village of Marda, near the West Bank of Salfit.

A local source in Marda reported that soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition, and rubber coated bullets, at the residents while trying to stop the bulldozers from uprooting their lands.

One resident, identified as Mohammad Ahmad Najeh, 18, was injured and transferred to the Emergency Hospital in Salfit.

Soldiers surrounded the village on Thursday afternoon and closed its entrances barring the press and residents from other areas from entering it, and deployed in the center of the village.

Also, soldiers deployed around the village, and several surrounding villages, and closed several streets.
