The wall in this part of the West Bank will be built by the green line, the internationally recognized border of the West Bank, since 1948, and not on it.
According to the report in Haaretz, the wall will reach the Dead Sea on the eastern side of the West Bank, aiming to keep control the reservations between Khald Mount and the dead Sea, by annexing them to Israel.
Most of the sections, there will be built inside the West Bank area. In other areas, Israeli security officials believe it will be enough to install surveillance equipment especially on the eastern side of the West Bank where it is a desert, in which Israel will build roads for its patrols to drive on.
Such roads will not be accessible to Palestinians and they will not be able to build on it. These roads will connect to the settlement blocs of Ma’aleh Adumem, east of Jerusalem.
In Thahrya area, southwest of Hebron, a wide area of land will be annexed to Israel and will be therefore inaccessible to their owners.
Besides, the wall is planned to annex all the land that the settlement of Gush Etzion and the surrounding small outposts and settlements will be annexed to Israel and the wall will surround them to include them into Israel.
Given this proposed route of the separation wall, the eastern side of the West Bank which forms the only potential natural border with a country other than Israel will be fully controlled by Israel.
Thus, given this information and the Israeli demand to keep presence on the Rafah-Egypt border crossing in the Gaza Strip, there will no sovereignty for the Palestinians on their borders with Jordan, and Egypt. Israel will keep control of both entrances/exits to and from the future Palestinian state.
