Israeli Forces arrested 8 Palestinians in Balata Refugee Camp in Nablus city, in the northern part of the West Bank, Tuesday morning; one of the arrestees is noted as being a member of the Palestinian resistance movement, the Al Aqsa Brigades.

Palestinian security sources reported that Israeli Forces broke into Balata and Askar Refugee Camps and Al-Dahya area.

A reporter with Ma’an News Service said that Israeli Forces announced to Palestinians in Al-Dahya area that they would be punished if anyone was found to be hiding resistance fighters and other Palestinians that were on the Army’s ‘wanted’ list.

The soldiers searched many homes in the camp, destroying furniture and ransacking the belongings of the residents.
