Israeli forces invaded the Balata refugee camp in the early hours of Wednesday morning and surrounded one house of a Palestinian family and threw several tear-gas bombs in the neighborhood, Palestine News Network reported.

The house belongs to the Shaker Abu Ayash and opened their machine gun fire and threw tear gas bombs at its façade which also affected the neighboring houses.

Army took four Palestinian Abu Ayash brothers prisoners, identified as Hani, 35, Mohammad, 28, Hussein, 21 and Jihad, 17.  The family said none of them belong to any resistance group.

According to statements made by the mother of the four young men, Israeli soldiers invaded the three-story house and ransacked it, vandalizing every corner, tearing apart its contents, and destroying the furniture and personal possessions.

One member of this family was killed by the Israeli army few years ago, while another is sentenced to eight years in Israeli jail.
