Palestinian sources reported on Tuesday that a Radical group threatened to attack the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza. The group, calling itself Ahrar Al Watan (free men of the homelnd in Arabic), said that UNRWA encourages gender-mixing in workplaces by employing women in education and commemorates the women day which the group claimed contradicts the Palestinian society's morals and ethics. The Palestine Press news based in Gaza said that the group stated that UNRWA uses its funding for these ideas in a time when Gaza lies under siege. UNRWA is the main aid agency that funds the refugees and residents of the 1.5 million Palestinians living in the hard economical conditions in the Palestinian Coastal region. Gaza was placed under total siege by the Israeli army, under which it has remained since June 2007, leaving UNRWA as the main sources of food and medicine in Gaza.
