Eyewitnesses reported that they heard shooting as a number of Israeli army vehicles invaded the camp in the early hours of the morning. The witnesses also reported that troops broke into a number of houses in the camp and kidnapped 5 brothers from the Katawi family, 3 brothers from the Sharif family and 2 brothers from the Zubeidi family after searching their homes. Three other kidnapped Palestinians remain unknown. Palestinian sources stated that the army blew up the doors of the invaded homes, causing horror and panic, especially among women and children, who woke up to the sounds of explosion and shooting.
