On Tuesday at night, the Israeli Air Force carried out an air strike targeting an area in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip; four Palestinians were wounded. The air strikes targeted an area reportedly being used as a training base for the Al Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

Adham Abu Salmiyya, spokesperson of the Higher committee of Emergency Services, reported that four Palestinians suffered mild injuries, and were moved to Abu Yousef Al Najjar Hospital in Khan Younis.

Earlier on Tuesday, three Palestinians were wounded in a number of air strikes targeting areas in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli army spokesperson reported that fighters fired at least 14 shells into adjacent Israeli settlements in the last two days.
