Palestinian medical sources reported that two Palestinians suffocated in a siege-busting tunnel between Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and Egypt, due to gas leak accident. The two are in moderate conditions.

The sources added that the two were moved to a local hospital for treatment, and that their condition is now described as moderate.

Last week, two Palestinian youth were killed when a siege-busting tunnel collapsed on them.

Similar tunnel accidents led to dozens of casualties among the Palestinians in the area.
