Israeli troops arrest 20 civilians during attacks on West Bank communities and Shutdown a local TV station. These stories and more, coming up, stay tuned.

The Israeli military targeted on Wednesday Watan TV, a local Palestinian television station broadcasting from the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
Troops surround the stations building then stormed offices before taking broadcast equipment, computers, and financial statements and documents; forcing the TV to go off-air.

During the attack troops detained Hamza al Salaymah, Watan TV reporter along with Production manager, Abed Al Rahman Al Daher, Graphics designer Ibrajem Milhim, Cameraman Ahamd Zaki and the night gourd Saleh Baker. The four men were detained until the army left the area.

Watan TV is a local media company that has an online news service and offer press conferences services in Ramallah a city that is under total Palestinian Authority control. The station went on-air 15 years ago.This is the second time the TV is attacked by the military. The first time was back in 2002.

The Israeli military said that Watan was using unauthorized frequencies, which cause a risk on flights in route to Ben Gurion International Airport. Watan TV assured IMEMC that they have all needed permissions from the Palestinian Authority, and bought licenses of our frequencies from the Palestinian Telecommunication Authority.

Also on Wednesday, Israeli Troops Arrest 20 Palestinians During Wide-Scale Invasions Targeting West Bank Communities. In the northern West Bank city of Nablus Israeli troops arrested five civilians after searching homes in the old city part. Moreover another three men were arrested by Israeli soldiers after conduction home-searches targeting the village of Beit Furik near Nablus.

While at the village of Yaboud Israeli forces leveled a greenhouse. The army said that the greenhouse, which is built on private lands owned by a Palestinian farmer, was too close to the Israeli wall.

Also on Wednesday nine Palestinian men were arrested during army invasions targeting the southern West bank city of Hebron and nearby villages. Home searches were reported in Hebron old city as well as Dora village, where troops arrested four men and the village of Beit Omer where the soldiers arrested five civilians.
