Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, claimed that Israelā€™s construction and expansion of Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, mainly in and around occupied East Jerusalem, ā€œdo not pose any threat to the peace processā€.The Israeli Prime Minister added that ā€œthe real threat to the world is not the Jews who are building in Jerusalem, but the Nuclear weapons Iran is developingā€, according to Netanyahu.

He added that Israel is dealing with these ā€œthreatsā€, and called on the International community ā€œto join Israel is this struggleā€, the Palestine News Network (PNN) has reported.

Netanyahu further stated that ā€œIsrael appreciates the American efforts on the Iranian fileā€, and added that ā€œthe time has come to the rest of the world to wake upā€.

Netanyahu also claimed that Israel is seeking real peace, and that Tel Aviv ā€œis willing to provide concessions to achieve this peaceā€.

Two days ago, Netanyahu claimed that Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, continues to ignore what he called ā€œall Israeli efforts to resume direct peace talksā€, and accused Abbas of placing ā€œimpossible preconditionsā€.

The Palestinian Authority in the West Bank had to quit talks with Israel due to its ongoing violations topped by its ongoing invasions, arrests, the demolition of homes, and its ongoing settlement construction and expansion activities in direct violation of International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention to which Israel is a signatory.
