The Palestinian Prisoners Society reported on Wednesday that there are 5 Palestinian Prisoners still on hunger strike, the longest of which is Samer al-Essawy who has been on strike since August 1 2012.
Three of them are on hunger strike to protest their administrative detention, while one is demanding a reduction of his 13-year sentence, and the most recent hunger striker is protesting that the Israeli forces are revoking his mother’s visitation rights.
