A number of nonviolent Palestinian activists closed on Monday the entrance of the Eliezer illegal Israeli settlement, one of the settlements of the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, in the Bethlehem district southern West Bank.

Activists said that soldiers attacked and kidnapped several protesters, and that this activity comes to affirm the Palestinian rejection to Israel’s illegal settlements in occupied Palestine.

Moreover soldiers kidnapped three nonviolent activists as they were heading to Palestinian lands near the settlement, to plant olive trees, local sources reported.

Elsewhere Israeli soldiers invaded various areas in the southern West bank district of Hebron, and kidnapped five Palestinians. Three more Palestinians were kidnapped in Bethlehem, and two Palestinian children in Jerusalem.

Local sources have reported that the army invaded the old part of Hebron and the nearby towns of Doura and Sa’ir. Troops violently broke into a number of homes, and searched them before kidnapping the five men.

Also near Hebron on Monday a number of Israeli settlers cut down nearly 50 Palestinian olive trees, east of Yatta town.

Residents said that Israeli settlers have recently escalated their attacks against the residents, their lands and property. in various areas east of Yatta, in an attempt to push the residents out of their lands.
In the Gaza Strip on Monday, Israeli navy attacked Palestinian fishing boats near the Gaza City coast line, local sources reported.

The fishermen said that were forced back to shore fearing being killed or injured by the Israeli gunfire. No damage or injuries were reported on Monday.
