A 25-year-old Palestinian was shot in the leg and dozens, including an international activist, suffered from tear gas suffocation, Saturday, when Israeli soldiers cracked down on an anti-settlement demonstration to the southwest of Jenin, according to local sources.The demonstration was organized by the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, to mark its 45th anniversary, in the village of Tura, WAFA reports.

Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters and live ammunition at the demonstrators, injuring one who was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
