[Tuesday Morning, February 18, 2014] A number of armored Israeli military vehicles invaded Palestinian farmlands east of the Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, uprooted farmlands and fired rounds of live ammunition at a number of homes. The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) has reported that three armored military bulldozers and four tanks, based in military camps across the border, advanced more than 200 meters into the area, bulldozing Palestinian farmlands.

The soldiers also opened fire at several homes in the area, causing damage but no injuries.

The invasion is part of frequent, limited invasions into Palestinian agricultural lands close to border areas, in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.

The army also frequently prevents the farmers from entering their lands, and opens fire at them, leading to dozens of casualties.
