[Thursday Morning, February 27, 2014] A number of fanatic Israeli settlers invaded Palestinian farmlands near Jaloud village, southeast of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and uprooted them.Eyewitnesses said that settlers drove in on a number of bulldozers, uprooting lands located near the Shvut Rachel illegal settlement, built on privately owned Palestinian lands, Radio Bethlehem 2000 has reported.

Head of the Jaloud Village Council, Abdullah al-Haj Mohammad, stated that the settlers are trying to expand their illegitimate settlement by stealing more lands from the Palestinians.

He added that the lands are the only sources of income for the families, and that the settlers repeatedly attack Palestinian lands and orchards in the area, in an attempt to force the Palestinians out of their lands.

In related news, soldiers invaded Ras al-Ahmar area, in the Northern Plains of the occupied West Bank, displacing 23 Bedouin families, ordering them out of their dwellings so that the army could conduct military drills.

The soldiers told the families that they can “return to their homes after the live-ammunition drill is concluded in the afternoon”.

Head of the Wadi al-Maleh village council, Aref Daraghma, stated that the army has been conducting various live-fire drills in the area, forcing dozens of families out of their homes and property, especially over the last few weeks.
