Israeli forces closed down the village of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, erecting several flying checkpoints around it. Spokesman for the local resistance committee Mohammad Ayyad Awad said that dozens of Israeli soldiers and vehicles were deployed at the entrances of the village, and were searching passersby.

Awad said that Israeli forces raided the house of Ahmad Younis Abu Ayyash and turned it into a military barracks.
