[Wednesday at Dawn, April 23, 2014] Israeli soldiers invaded several Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank, broke into dozens of homes and searched them, kidnapping at least 14 Palestinians.The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) has reported that several armored Israeli military vehicles invaded Borqa village, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, kidnapped six Palestinians and caused property damage while searching their homes.

The six have been identified as Omran Mohammad Saif, Ezzat Tal’at Saif, Abdul-Hakim Mohammad Saif, Amin Taiseer Salah, Majed Nader Hajji, and Bara’ Jihad Abu Omar.

Soldiers also invaded the Deir Samet village, southwest of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, and kidnapped Hamza Yousef al-Hroub, 29, after violently searching his home.

WAFA said the army also invaded Doura town, south of Hebron, and kidnapped two Palestinians identified as Mohammad Salama Abu Ras, and Issa Younis al-Awawda, 35.

Another Palestinian, identified as Raed Ahmad Hdeibat, 40, was kidnapped at a roadblock installed by the army near the al-Fawwar refugee camp in Hebron; Hdeibat is from Yatta town, south of Hebron.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that the soldiers also invaded the al-Fawwar refugee camp, and kidnapped former political prisoner Mohammad Ahmad Najjar, 30.

His brother told the PPS that dozens of soldiers broke into the property during the early dawn hours, after smashing its doors, and kidnapped Najjar.

The kidnapped Palestinian was arrested and imprisoned by Israel eight times and, a year ago, he held a hunger strike demanding medical treatment, he was also demanding an end to his arbitrary Administrative Detention without charges or trial.

Furthermore, soldiers invaded the towns of Ithna and Yatta, near Hebron, instaling roadblocks at the northern entrance of Hebron city, the entrances of Sa’ir and Halhoul towns, and the entrance of the al-Fawwar refugee camp.

In addition, the army invaded al-Obaidiyya town, east of Bethlehem, and kidnapped Mahmoud Jamal Shanayta, 23, also after violently breaking into his home and searching it.

Two more Palestinians, identified as Mohammad Soboh, 22, and Osama Khalaf, 23, were kidnapped from their homes in Borqeen town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

The arrests and invasions are part of daily Israeli military violations against the Palestinian people, their lands and property, in different parts of the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem.
