Israeli soldiers, stationed on military towers across the border, east of ‘Abasan town, east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, opened fire on several farmers trying to enter their own lands, close to the border fence. Navy ships also opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats.The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) said soldiers, stationed on military towers across the border, east of ‘Abasan town, east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, opened fire on several farmers trying to enter their own lands, close to the border fence.

Fearing for their lives, the farmers had to leave their lands and return home; no injuries were reported.

In addition, Israeli Navy ships opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats, close to the shore in the Gaza Sea, forcing them back to shore.
