The Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS), in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, at least eight Palestinians in Hebron governorate.

The PPS said the soldiers stormed and violently searched dozens of homes, and interrogated many Palestinians, before abducting at least eight.

Among the abducted Palestinians is a journalist, identified as Mos’ab Khamis Qfeisha, former political prisoner and political analysts Hisham Sharabati, from Hebron city, and detainees’ rights advocate and activist Osama Shahin from Doura town, south of Hebron.

The abducted Palestinians have been identified as:

  1. Osama Hussein Shahin, from Doura, south of Hebron.
  2. Hisham Sharabati, Hebron.
  3. Mos’ab Qfeisha, Hebron.
  4. Monjid al-Jondi, Hebron.
  5. Malek Abu Aisha, Hebron.
  6. Ziad Akram Qawasmi, Hebron.
  7. Ziad Ali Qawasmi, Hebron.
  8. Nidal Talhami, 41, Hebron.

It is worth mentioning that Nidal was taken prisoner after the soldiers stopped him at a roadblock near the permanent Abu ar-Reesh military post, in Hebron.

On Wednesday at night, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Haitham al-Jo’ba, in front of one of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem.
