Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Thursday at dawn, the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and conducted extensive searches of homes before kidnapping seven Palestinians.

Nablus TV has reported that clashes took place in the Eastern Area of Nablus city, after several Israeli military vehicles invaded it, especially in Sheikh Musallam area.

It added that the soldiers fired several live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs, while local youngsters hurled stones at the military vehicles.

Similar clashes took place in Ibn Roshd area, in the Northern Mountain area in Nablus city, and the army also fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs, causing several injuries.

Nablus TV said six of the kidnapped Palestinians have been identified as Abdul-Rahman al-Wadi, Amin Halbouni, Fawzi Bishkar, Bara Thouqan, Mojahed Ashour and Abdul-Rahman al-Bishtawi.
