Palestinian medical sources have reported that an elderly man, and three children, suffered moderate-to-severe wounds at dawn Thursday in a serious of Israeli air strikes targeting a number of areas in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media sources reported that an F-16 Israeli fighter jet, fired a missile into a blacksmith workshop, in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

An elderly man, identified as Hasan Hasaneim, 65, and three children, were injured in various parts of their bodies from fragment and shrapnel resulting from the shelling, as it caused damage to surrounding homes. Medical sources said the wounded Palestinians were moved to the Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, suffering moderate-to-severe wounds.

The Israeli Air Force also fired a missile into a vacant land, in Sourani Mountain area, east of the Tuffah area, east of Gaza City, causing damage. Two Israeli missiles also targeted a site in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, causing excessive damage and fires.

The Air Force also carried out more than four strikes targeted the destroyed Gaza International Airport, near the Sofa Crossing, northeast of Rafah.

Later on Thursday, a number of armored Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Thursday morning, Palestinian agricultural lands, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, while army drones and war jets flew overhead.

Elsewhere, The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers have kidnapped at least thirteen Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including three in occupied Jerusalem, and one medic.
