Four Palestinians injured, at least 48 others detained during army invasions targeting West Bank communities. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Israeli soldiers and security officers attacked, Wednesday, nonviolent Palestinian protesters, and journalists, in the courtyard if the International Red Cross center in occupied East Jerusalem, injured one Palestinian, and abducted three others.

The soldiers assaulted a young man, causing various cuts and bruises, before Palestinian medics moved him to a hospital for treatment.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Jerusalem, announced that said that that the soldiers, and several security officers, attack the nonviolent protesters, including elders, in the courtyard of the Red Cross.

In a spate incident, Israeli soldiers shot and injured, on Wednesday evening, one Palestinian with live fire, and caused dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, during clashes that took place after the soldiers assaulted protesters, near Qalandia terminal, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The clashes started after the soldiers attacked Palestinians, holding a nonviolent procession in support of the Palestinian detainees, ongoing with the hunger strike they started on April 17th, which also marks the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day.

The soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs, and several live rounds, on the protesters, while local youngsters responded by hurling stones and empty bottles.

Moreover, Israeli soldiers invaded late on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning Palestinian communities across the West Bank and detained 48 Palestinian civilians. Two Palestinians were reported injured during clashes with invading forces.

Invasions, home searches and detention by the Israeli army were reported in the northern west Bank cities of Jenin, Nablus, and Qalqilia. Clashes erupted during the army invasion to Jenin and Nablus were two young Palestinian men were injured by the army gunfire.

Invasions and detentions were also reported in the southern West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Hebron as well as Jerusalem city.
