Residents of several towns in the northern Gaza Strip received airdrops of leaflets on Sunday morning, July 13th, warning them to leave their homes by noon, or risk being bombed. This is despite the fact that there are no shelters in Gaza and all of the borders are sealed. Full Story

Hundreds of protests were held in cities around the world, on Friday and Saturday, calling for an end to the Israeli assault on Gaza, which has lasted five days and cost the lives of over 150 Palestinians, including babies, small children and whole families. Amnesty International has called for a UN-mandated investigation into international violations committed during the ongoing Israeli air strikes across Gaza, including the continuing volley of "indiscriminate rocket fire" from Palestinian armed groups into Israel. It also called on the UN to immediately impose a comprehensive arms embargo on the region, with the intention of preventing further violations of international humanitarian law and human rights by parties engaged in the conflict.

A Bethlehem family received treatment for suffocation, Saturday, after an Israeli tear gas canister landed in their home, according to local and media reports. Five Palestinians were kidnapped in the Hebron and Jenin districts, during clashes with Israeli forces. Reports of live fire continue to surface.

Palestinian medical sources have reported that 53 Palestinians have been killed on the fifth day of Israel’s aggression on the Gaza Strip. The dead include an entire extended family of 18 people in Khan Younis, including two ten-year olds, a 12-year old, a 13-year old and a 16-year old.
