Israeli military civil administration officers handed over demolition orders on Tuesday  for six homes, four water aquifers and one green house owned by Palestinians south of Bethlehem city, in the southern west Bank.  Full Story

The French Foreign Minister reported that France would donate € 10 Million for a planned Industrial Zone in Bethlehem. The money would be used for basic infrastructure including roads, electricity networks, water networks and a water treatment facility. Full Story

Today, the weekly popular protest at al-Ma'sara, a village near Bethlehem, was again met by armed Israeli soldiers. The Israeli Occupying Forces had blocked the exit road of the village with razor wire, denying the people their right to access their fields. Full Story

Pope Benedict XVI, visiting The Aida Refugee camp in Bethlehem voiced harsh criticism of the Israeli Annexation Wall isolated the camp and the Palestinian territories. He told thousands of Palestinians who gather to listen to his speech, that he supports establishing a Palestinian independent state "in the land of your forefathers". Full Story
