Palestinian sources in Jerusalem reported on Monday that the Israeli police and intelligence services broke into the Al Maqassed Islamic Hospital east of the city during a celebration marking the 42nd anniversary of the Fateh movement, and abducted five Fateh officials.The Maan News Agency reported that soldiers took prisoner Palestinian Legislator, prominent Fateh member, Hatim Abdul-Qader, Salah Zheika, Fateh secretary in Jerusalem, in addition to Samir Qaddoumi, Ashraf Anwar, and Suleiman Turkman. The Israeli police claimed that the celebration was unlicensed, even though it was conducted in a hospital space and did not involve “illegal” gathering in the street. The abducted members and leaders of Fateh were transferred to the Al Maskobiyya prison in Jerusalem.
