Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Friday night that one Palestinian resident was killed by gunmen, and another resident was abducted in a separate attack, apparently due to family feuds in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The sources identified the killed resident as Mohammad Ali Al Ghalban, 27. He was hit by several rounds of live ammunition and was already dead when he was transferred to the Gaza-European hospital in Khan Younis.

Palestinian security sources reported that the body of Al Ghalban was found in Ma'an area in Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, Hamas movement accused members of Kaware' family of killing Al Ghalban, who is a member of the movement in Khan Younis.

In a separate incident, Palestinian security sources said that unknown gunmen abducted Amjad Al Hindi, 25, in Al Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis.

The motives behind the attack remain unknown.

The killing of Al Ghalban raises the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip in less than 24 hours to three.

One resident identified as Abdul-Raziq Abu Shabab, 55, was killed due to family feuds in Morag area, east of Khan Younis.

Another resident identified as Ahmad Obeid Abu Shallouf, 45, was found dead after being repeatedly stabbed in Al Madakha street, near Abu Yousef Al Najjar hospital, in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The recent attacks and killings, regardless of whether they were motivated by family conflicts or criminal backgrounds, could cause the collapse of the declare truced between Hamas and Fateh movements, and could affect the formation of a unity government especially if more resulting incidents of chaos and insecurity continue to take place.
