The northern Palestinian West Bank city of Nablus went on strike, on Saturday, in protest against the civil unrest. Shops and public facilities closed today after a call for a strike by the National and Islamic Political groups in the city. The call for the strike was in response to the several attacks on Palestinian shops and theft attacks on some residents houses that took place last week.
