Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday evening, two young Palestinian men in the al-‘Isawiya town, and summoned for interrogation a young man from Silwan, in occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded a few neighborhoods in al-‘Isawiya, before the soldiers stopped and abducted a young man, who remained unidentified at the time of this report.

The young man was walking in a neighborhood of his town, when the soldiers abducted him, and moved him to an interrogation facility.

The soldiers also invaded and searched homes in the town, before abducting a young man, identified as Bilal Mahmoud, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) has reported.

Many Palestinians protested the invasion, hurled stones at the soldiers, and used firecrackers, while the army fired rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.

In related news, the soldiers stopped Mohammad Jihad Za’tari, 40, from Silwan town in Jerusalem, before ordering him to head to a police station for interrogation.

Several Israeli military jeeps also invaded the at-Tour town in Jerusalem, while a police helicopter flew overhead after many soldiers and police officers were deployed at the main entrance of the town, Silwanic added.

Also on Wednesday evening, the soldiers abducted two Palestinians from Jenin and Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.

On Wednesday at dawn, the soldiers abducted 21 Palestinians, including former political prisoners, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
