Israeli soldiers injured, Thursday, dozens of Palestinians, including senior political leaders, during a nonviolent procession against the ongoing attempts to illegally annex Palestinian lands to expand a colonialist outpost, west of Salfit, in central West Bank.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) has reported that the soldiers injured at least thirty-two Palestinians, in the ar-Ras area, west of Salfit.

Among the wounded Palestinians are secretaries of Fateh Secretary in Salfit, Abdul-Sattar Awwad, Nablus, Jihad Ramadan, Tubas, Mahmoud Sawafta, Jenin, Ata Abu Rmeila, in addition to their Jerusalem counterpart, ‘Aahed Resheq; they were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets in the arms and legs.

At least 30 Palestinians suffered the severe effects of teargas inhalation, in addition to cuts and bruises.

The procession was held to protest the illegal takeover of Palestinian lands in the ar-Ras area, where Israeli colonists installed mobile homes and bulldozed lands, to establish a new colonialist outpost.

On Monday, the soldiers attacked a nonviolent procession in the same area, and abducted two Palestinians.

Last Sunday, many colonists invaded approximately 50 Dunams of Palestinian in the ar-Ras area, and uprooted dozens of olive trees.
