On Sunday night, Israeli soldiers invaded Ni’lin town, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and injured several Palestinians, including a journalist, during ensuing protests.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the main entrance area of the town, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
The sources added that the soldiers shot a journalist, Mo’tasem Saqf Al-Heit, with a high-velocity gas bomb in the head.
Furthermore, the soldiers attacked several journalists while trying to stop them from documenting the invasion.
The soldiers also caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises.
In addition, the army closed the town’s main entrance and refused to allow the Palestinians to enter or leave the town.
