Earlier Tuesday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Bedouin area in Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, and handed an order to demolish a local mosque.

Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the National and Popular Committees against the Annexation Wall and Colonies, said the army invaded the Khashm Ad-Daraj community and handed an order to demolish the local Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque.

Jabour added that the army informed the Palestinians they have one week to appeal the demolition order in Israeli courts, which does not give them enough time to begin the process.

The mosque is about 150 square meters and is attended by several smaller Bedouin villages and communities in Masafer Yatta.
