On Friday, Israeli soldiers attacked the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, injuring five Palestinian and one international peace activist and causing dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Dozens of Palestinians, accompanied by peace activists, marched in Kufur Qaddoum while chanting against the illegal Israeli occupation and its escalating violations and calling for ongoing resistance until liberation and independence.

The soldiers attacked the protests with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades and tried to ambush and abduct some of them.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot five Palestinians and one international peace activist with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Last Friday, the soldiers injured eight Palestinians during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum.

The Palestinians hold weekly processions every Friday and Saturday in Kufur Qaddoum, demanding the army to reopen the town’s main entrance, blockaded 19 years ago to allow easy access to illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
