Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, eighteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, during extensive and violent searches of homes, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has confirmed.

The PPS office in Hebron, in southern West Bank, said the soldiers abducted Mohammad Bader, a former member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, in addition to Arafat Qawasmi, Mohannad Tawil, Ahmad Tarayra, Sabri al-Khdour, Ismael Za’aqeeq, Nidal Hosni Za’aqeeq, Dia’ Hashem Zahda, Abdul-Rahman Hazem Hadoush, and Raja’e Shafiq Rajabi, 17.

In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers invaded and ransacked homes in Kobar town, north of the city, before abducting Ala’ Barghouthi, Mohye Barghouthi, Nassim Barghouthi, Jamil Daraghma and Amal Nakhla.

In Jericho, in northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ahmad al-Mimi and Arafat Jalayta.

In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Nazzal and Hussein Ba’jawi.
