On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted five young Palestinian men from their homes in towns near Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The soldiers invaded Jaba’ town, south of Jenin, and searched several homes before abducting Anis Zaher Alawna and former political prisoner Qussai Hasan Salama.

Many Palestinians protested the invasion and hurled stones at the army jeeps before the army fired live rounds and gas bombs.

The soldiers also invaded Silat al-Harithiya town, west of Jenin, and searched a few homes before abducting Assem Abdullah Tahaina and Ahmad Jaradat.

In the al-Yamoun town, west of Jenin, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Azmi Abu al-Hasan from his home.
