On Wednesday dawn, many Israeli army vehicles invaded the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank, and shot six Palestinians during ensuing protests.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that the soldiers shot six Palestinians with live rounds in the lower extremities and obstructed the arrival of medics and ambulances by closing the entire area.

The Palestinians were injured after dozens of soldiers invaded the refugee camp and initiated massive and violent invasions and searches of homes, causing property damage.

The soldiers did not only target protesters with live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs but also many homes in the invaded refugee camp.

Furthermore, Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the soldiers who invaded the refugee camp.
