On Friday, many Palestinian patients and staffers were injured after Israeli soldiers fired a gas bomb at the Emergency Unit of a hospital in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers fired a gas bomb that struck the entrance of the Emergency Unit at the Hebron governmental hospital, causing many patients and staffers to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

It added that the soldiers deliberately fired the gas bomb into the hospital, especially since there were no protests in the area.

The Ministry denounced the ongoing Israeli violations and escalation and called on the International Community to intervene.
