Israeli soldiers abducted, on Sunday at dawn, two young Palestinian men, including a former political prisoner, from Bethlehem and Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.

The soldiers invaded the al-Karkafa area, in the center of Bethlehem city, searched homes, and abducted a young man, identified as Jabra Matios.

The soldiers also invaded Beit Jala city, in addition to the Doha and al-Khader towns, near Bethlehem, and withdrew later without invading homes or abducting residents.

In addition, the soldiers invaded al-Waad Street, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Ala’ Monther Najib, 20, after storming his family’s home and ransacking it.

On Saturday evening, the soldiers fired many gas bombs at the Yasser Arafat soccer stadium in the Obeid neighborhood in the al-‘Isawiya town, in Jerusalem, causing many players and spectators to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
