Israeli soldiers assaulted, Thursday, dozens of nonviolent Palestinian protesters who stood in front of the Central Israeli Court in occupied Jerusalem, while it held a hearing into the displacement of two Palestinian families from their homes in Batn al-Hawa, in Silwan town.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers assaulted the nonviolent protesters, in addition to many journalists and Arab members of Knesset.

They added that the soldiers also assaulted and injured two young men, identified as Bassel Dweikat and Adel Silwadi, before abducting them.

The Palestinians decided to protest in front of the Israeli court in solidarity with the families of Salem Gheith and Jawad Abu Naab, after a ruling was previously made to displace them from their homes and granting the properties to the illegal colonialist settlers.
