Israeli forces, on Saturday, opened fire at Palestinian demonstrators in the northern occupied West Bank village of Kufur Qaddoum, injuring three young men with rubber-coated steel rounds, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

One of the three young men, shot by Israeli soldiers, was seriously injured, after being struck in the chest, local sources revealed, at the weekly gathering east of Qalqilia city.

Israeli troops fired tear-gas canisters, and rubber-coated steel rounds at the crowd, causing many to suffer the toxic effects of tear-gas inhalation.

The seriously injured young man was rushed to a Nablus hospital, and all others were treated on site.

Similarly, on Friday, soldiers suppressed the weekly march in Kufur Qaddoum, causing injuries to Palestinian protesters and a covering journalist.
