Palestinian medical sources said Monday that eight people were injured during clashes between various families in Khan Younis city, to the south of Gaza Strip.
Those injured, including two critically, were admitted to the local hospital of Naser, medics confirmed.
Witnesses said that the armed clashes broke out between many families in different parts of the city.
Local Islamic and national factions appealed for the fighting parties to resort to calm and resolve their differences by rational means rather than violent ones.
The densely-populated Gaza Strip has witnessed in recent months increasing family feuds while poverty rate has risen to %80 approximately, due to an internationally-imposed economic embargo since a Hamas-led government has been installed last January.
