Eywitnesses said that at least 10 military vehicles stormed the city and the refugee camp from several directions, soldiers opened fire randomly at residents houses cars on the street causing damage but no injures.
In Jenin refugee camp a group of resistance fighters, apprently attepting to stop the invasion, clashed with the troops. Both the troops and the resistance group exchanged fire for several hours before the Israeli forces leave the camp, no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, another Israeli military force invaded the village of Zebuba, west of Jenin on Tuesday morning. Troops surrounded the village and installed military checkpoints at the main enterances prevented the villagers from to leave or enter the village.
The army broke into and searched a number of homes in the village but made no arrests, eyewitnesses said
