Palestinian media sources reported Tuesday that unknown gunmen detonated an explosive device in an internet café in the northern Gaza Strip town of Jabalia.

Palestinian media sources reported Tuesday that unknown gunmen detonated an explosive device in an internet café in the northern Gaza Strip town of Jabalia. The sources said that the explosion ripped through the building at 1:30 am. Witnesses said that the building cuaght fire, however, Palestinian fire brigades prevented further damage to nearby houses. No casualties were reproted.

The attack at the Internet café is the third this week, amidst continued chaos and lawlessness in the unruly coastal strip. Similar attacks have occured frequently during the past year as a result of the conflict that erupted between the two major political groups, Fatah and Hamas, and the international embargo against the Palestinian government.
