Palestinian medical sources reported Monday that three Palestinian civilians have been killed and one was injured during a clan feud in Khan Younis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The sources identified the dead people as Mas’oud Abdelqader Aljerwani, Hammada Zo’rob and Ali Saqer; all are 27 years old.
Local sources confirmed that the clashes erupted between the families of Zo’rob and Jewaie’d near the local mosque of Palestine.
Family feuds across the Gaza Strip has been steadily increasing over the past year, as the Palestinian territories suffer from the crippling economic siege the international community imposed following Hamas victory in last January’s legislative elections. 80% of people live below the poverty line, while unemployment rates have increased to almost 60%.
