The Israeli army abducted 24 Palestinian civilians in pre-dawn invasions of several West Bank cities on Thursday.
The Israeli military claimed that those abducted are what the army calls Wanted Palestinians; in the meantime Palestinian sources reported that those abducted are civilians.
Four of those abducted were taken from the village of Taqua east of Bethlehem city in the southern part of the West Bank, among them one municipality official. Troops attacked and searched a number of homes them took Samih Subeh, the deputy Mayor of the village to an unknown location.
The Mayor of Taqua village Khaled Hamida was abducted by the Israeli army several months ago.
The Israeli army invaded Tulkarem refugee camp located in the Tulkarem city in the northern part of the West Bank and abducted one civilian on Thursday. Soldiers stormed and attacked scores of residents homes and searched them then abducted Abd Al Latef Milhim, 24, and left the camp.
