A Palestinian child was shot and injured as the Israeli army searched and attacked residents’ homes in the southern West Bank city of Hebron on Monday morning.
Palestinian medical sources reported that Wurod Al Ajloni, 16 was shot in the lower part of her back as she was stading in front of her house located in the southern side of Hebron city. Witnesses reported that soldiers fired live rounds at a group of local youth standing on the street, around hit al Al Ajloni and injured her.
Israeli army sources stated that Israeli soldiers opened fire when the local youth hurled stones at them.
Earlier on Monday a massive Israeli force invaded several areas of Hebron city and nearby villages, troops searched and ransacked a number of Palestinian homes, during the search soldiers gave military orders to several Palestinian civilians that they have to go for an interview with the secret Israeli police Shin Bit office in the nearby Kfar Atzion military pass near the city. Among those residents were Mohamed Izrikat.
