Clashes Erupt at Joseph's Tomb, Car Smashed in Nablus

Hundreds of Jewish settlers on Thursday, raided the Joseph's Tomb east of the West Bank city of Nablus, under the protection of Israeli army.


Palestinian official responsible for the Settlement File in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Doughlas, told the PNN that violent clashes erupted in the area between the Palestinian residents and Israeli forces, amid heavy fire shooting from the Israeli side.

Following the clashes, the Israeli forces and army withdrew from the area.

On Wednesday, settlers smashed a Palestinian vehicle in the village of Jaloud, south of Nablus.

Ghassan Doughlas, said that a number of Israeli settlers raided the village at dawn, and smashed the car of Jihad Riyad Hamoud before fleeing the scene.
