[Saturday, June 21, 2014] Israeli soldiers continued their extensive military offensive in the occupied territories, broke into Palestinian homes, facilities and offices, and kidnapped dozens of Palestinians.Local sources in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, have reported that the army kidnapped at least eleven Palestinians from, after invading and ransacking their homes, and property.
Soldiers invaded Hebron city, and searched dozens of homes, causing excessive property damage, and kidnapped three Palestinians.
The kidnapped have been identified as Adnan Mohammad az-Zaro, 35, Ashraf Ishaq Nairoukh, and a child identified as Yacoub Suheil al-Jo’ba, 15 years of age.
Soldiers also invaded Ithna town, west of Hebron, and kidnapped Ismael Talab an-Nattah, 35. Residents Mohammad Ali al-Hreiny and Mohammad Hasan al-Hreiny, were kidnapped in Yatta town, while residents Mohammad Ismael Abu ‘Arqoub, Hotheifa Mahmoud al-‘Awawa and Hasan Ahmad Darwish, were kidnapped in Doura town.
Several armored Israeli military vehicles also invaded Tarqoumia town, west of Hebron, and kidnapped Tareq Aziz Eghreib, while resident Mohammad Nasser al-Masharqa was kidnapped at a sudden military roadblock, near the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron.
In Beit Kahel nearby town, soldiers detained a Palestinian child, identified as Sami Suleiman al-‘Atawna, 15, and assaulted his brother, Ahmad. Sami was released after several hours of interrogation. The soldiers also invaded several homes and violently searched them.
Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers stole 15.000 NIS from the home of resident Tamer Fahmi al-Haimouny, in Hebron city, and 2500 NIS from the home of Hatem al-‘Asafra in Beit Kahel village.
The soldiers also searched and ransacked the Islamic Charitable Society offices in Hebron city, Halhoul and Sa’ir towns.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers invaded the Nabi Mousa Mosque, in Halhoul town, smashed one of its doors, and detained the Muezzin, Issam al-Wawy.
The mosque was invaded just after the dawn call for prayers. The soldiers searched the mosque, and tried to break into a Zakat office.
In Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank, soldiers kidnapped four Palestinians in the Jenin refugee camp, searched several homes, and confiscated four computers and files from the office of the Islamic Relief.
They also confiscated student files from the Arab American University in Jenin, for the second consecutive day.
The Palestinians, kidnapped in Jenin refugee camp, have been identified as As’ad Mohammad Steity, Ashraf Mohammad al-Qaisy, 21, Yazan Adnan al-Hindi, 21, and Mohammad Sa’id Sweity.
Clashes have been reported between the invading soldiers and local youth, while medical sources said dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Media sources said the invasion resulted in at least twelve arrests in different parts of the Hebron District.
In the Bethlehem district, soldiers kidnapped at least eighteen Palestinians, broke into and searched dozens of homes, as part of the ongoing Israeli invasions and escalation in the occupied territories.
Local sources said dozens of soldiers invaded Teqoua’ town, east of Bethlehem, and kidnapped sixteen Palestinians.
The kidnapped have been identified as Amir Salim Khalil, Akram Mousa Jibreel, Samir Mahmoud al-‘Amour, Khaled Mohammad al-Badan, As’ad Daoud al-Badan, Saud Mheisin al-Badan, Samih Ahmad Sabah, Ayman Mousa Jibreel, Kamel Abdullah al-Badan, Mohammad Issa al-Kawarna, Jamil Ata Jibreel, Bassem Samih al-Badan, Sami Aziz al-Badan, Mohammad Khalil Sabah, Sharif Saud al-Badan, and Sabri Mousa Jibreel.
Soldiers also invaded Abu Njeim area, southeast of Bethlehem, and kidnapped two Palestinians identified as Ibrahim Mousa Salahat, and Wael Salim Salahat.
Also in Bethlehem, soldiers invaded the main office of an orphanage, confiscated computer and files, and withdrew later on, leaving excessive damage behind.
