On Monday, April 29th, the Israeli military continued its relentless assault on the people of the Gaza Strip for the 206th straight day.

Palestinians in Rafah held funerals for the more than 20 people, mainly children, killed in Israeli airstrikes over the past 24 hours in the city.

Palestinians in Rafah, where 1.5 million displaced Palestinians have taken refuge, reported Israeli shelling by air, sea and land beginning in the middle of the night, continuing through the day, and not ceasing.

In the morning, four civilians, including three women, were killed and others were injured today in a raid by the Israeli occupation on the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that the occupation warplanes bombed a residential apartment in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, which led to the death of 4 citizens, including 3 women.

The same sources added that the occupation warplanes launched raids on agricultural land west of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. They also targeted the homes of citizens in the west of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.

Three civilians were killed and others were injured, on Monday evening, in a raid launched by the Israeli occupation aircraft on a house belonging to the Abu Tayour family in Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Two civilians were also killed and others were wounded in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a house belonging to the Ikhlil family in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, in conjunction with the bombing of Al-Daraj and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods in the city.

Israeli warplanes carried out raids on areas west of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip and the eastern outskirts of Beit Hanoun town in the north.

The number of those killed Monday has risen to 34, including 26 in Rafah, following the continued Israeli raids on Palestinian civilian homes.

Israeli artillery shelled the east of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, the Juhr al-Dik area in the central Gaza Strip, and the southern areas of Gaza City.

Earlier, four civilians, including three women, were killed and others were wounded in a raid by the Israeli occupation targeting a residential apartment in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, and the occupation aircraft launched raids on agricultural lands west of Nuseirat camp, and targeted citizens’ homes west of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.

On Monday, Israeli media outlets reported that at least three Israeli soldiers were killed and 11 were wounded in combat against Palestinian resistance groups in central Gaza.

The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, had earlier announced that they ambushed Israeli forces in the Netzarim corridor, the buffer zone that Israeli forces have been creating dividing the north of the Gaza Strip from its south. The al-Qassam Brigades also announced that they used unexploded Israeli bombs in the ambush.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since the seventh of last October, which led to the death of 34,488 citizens, and the injury of 77,643 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
