Resident Ma’moun Mohammad Daoud, from Hares village, near the West Bank city of Salfit, appealed the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, to instruct P.A police heads to investigate into the case of abducting and abusing him by P.A policemen.

The indent took place several weeks ago; Daoud said that he can identify the policemen who abducted him since they were unmasked except for one of them.

The four policemen abducted Daoud, severely punched and clubbed him before he was released.

“Mr. President, I was abducted and beaten by the policemen, I have done no wrong, and I still do not know why did they abduct me”, the letter Daoud sent to the president reads, “I appealed several organizations to interfere, the police should be there to protect us, instead of attacking us, we are repeatedly attacked by the settlers and Israeli soldiers, the last thing we need is to be abused by our own people and police”.

Daoud appealed Abbas to probe the event and bring the attackers to justice.

In a separate incident, resident Sarhan Mahmoud Al Atawna, from Beit Kahil village, near the West Bank city of Hebron, appealed Abbas to instruct the Palestinian Ministry of Education to pay him his salary which he did not receive over the last 18 months.

“I work as a teacher at Yatta School for boys since 25/8/2008, and was not paid since then” Atawna said, “I contacted several officials, but nothing happened”.
