In the latest poll of Israeli voters by Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the Kadima party appears set to win 44 mandates in March’s election.  34% of young people (18 – 35) polled supported Likud chariman Netanyahu, with a similar percentage supporting acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

This poll indicates a stronger position for Kadima from last week, while Labor remained in the same place with 21 mandates.  Likud is projected to win 13 mandates, followed by Arab parties with eight and United Torah Judaism with six.

The Shinui party has still been unable to qualify with the minimum number of mandates.
